Capitol Lakes is a downtown Madison Retirement Community. Each Veterans Day, we hold a service to honor our many residents and staff who have served our country. This year, our celebration will be on Veterans Day, Wednesday November 11th at 2pm in our Grand Hall. It should only last about an hour. We would love to have UW music students volunteer their musical talent to perform either the national anthem, ‘America the Beautiful,’ or another patriotic song.

I am interested in having my daughter start voice lessons just to help her gain early technique. She is several months from 5 years old. She is a very fun child but has never had one-on-one lessons before so will likely be a bit shy at first. Ideally if a teacher also has piano skills that would be great as next year when she is 5 or so I would like her to learn the piano as she is starting to show interest. For now, this is for voice only.
