We are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary on July 9, 2016 at Harvest Restaurant’s Banquet Room in Madison. We are looking for a few musicians, either vocal or soft instrumental, to provide music following our meal – probably 30-45 minutes (around 7:00 p.m.). There will be 11 people (3 generations) at the celebration; my husband and myself, our 2 children and spouses, and 5 grandchildren, ages 11-16. The type of music can vary; we thought a barbershop quartet would be nice, although strings or woodwinds would work as well. Music can’t be too loud, however, as the room is above the Harvest dining room and we don’t want to disturb the customers downstairs. With the ages (75-11) of our group, nothing too heavy would be best; don’t want to “bore” the grandchildren! Everyone in the group has had some musical experience, either playing an instrument or vocal performance.

We live in Stoughton – southeast of Madison. Harvest Restaurant is on the East side of Capitol Square, north of East Washington. There would not be a piano available; the room is upstairs one flight.

We would be pleased to negotiate a fee; we don’t expect this to be a “gratis” program. Contact information:    ddhalom@charter.net     phone: (608) 877-8052.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can give us in celebrating our special day!
