Wisconsin Academy   Academy Evening Talks
Imagine: How Creativity Works
TUE, MAR 27 | 7 PM
Promenade Hall (Overture Center) |  FREE   Running time: 7:00-8:30 pm
Jonah Lehrer, contributing editor at Wired magazine and the author of How We Decide and Proust Was a Neuroscientist, shares a sparkling and revelatory introduction to the new science of creativity. Shattering the myth of muses, higher powers, even creative “types,” Lehrer demonstrates that creativity is not a single “gift” possessed by the lucky few. It’s a variety of distinct thought processes that we can all learn to use more effectively. Sponsored by the Wisconsin Academy in partnership with Wisconsin Public Radio, this Academy Evening talk is free and open to the public.
