Lecturer. This is a 9 month, full-time, position.
Conduct two choirs, teach methods classes in choral and general music education, supervise student teachers, and other duties commensurate with expertise and abilities.
Minimum masters degree and 5 years experience teaching K-12 music required. Must have ability to conduct choirs, teach choral and general music methods class, and supervise student teachers.The applicant must have demonstrable skills in oral and written communication.The candidate must provide a separate statement showing that they have a history of working with or demonstrated commitment to addressing issues of race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, and/or other issues of historic marginalization.
