The University of Wisconsin-Madison anticipates a full-time (tenure-track) position as Assistant Professor of Horn, beginning August 2011. Responsibilities include conducting scholarly performance; teaching undergraduate and graduate applied lessons; coaching chamber music ensembles; team-teaching the high-brass fundamentals course for music education majors; rehearsing and performing with the resident faculty chamber ensemble, the Wisconsin Brass Quintet; and participating in faculty governance and other professional service activities. A minimum of a master’s degree or equivalent teaching/performing experience is required. Salary commensurate with qualifications.
