I found this post on Derek Sivers’s blog and it reminded me of some of my own most successful job hunt experiences. The take-home message, in my own words and inspired by Richard Florida’s “Creative Class” research is DECIDE WHERE YOU WANT TO LIVE AND HOW YOU WANT YOUR LIFE TO BE, THEN GET THERE VIA YOUR JOB, as opposed to finding a job and adapting your life plan to the particulars of employment.
