Cellist wanted this fall to relieve teacher going on medical leave

Looking for an experienced cellist, ideally a music major, to take over teaching some of my cello students while I am on medical leave.

10-12 students for 2-3 months starting in October 2017. Looking for someone who could teach out of my home in Middleton to maintain continuity for students and their parents.

Great opportunity to gain teaching experience while having time for school.

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings roughly 5-9pm

Compensation around $20-$35 per hour

Oboist wanted to help local musician

I’m an amateur musician. I’ve written a couple of pieces for oboe and piano. I need an oboist for two things:

1. advice on slurs and general playability (by a university recital-level player)
2. performance (no audience) that I can record to share with family and friends

I expect to pay separately for those since, if it turns out the piece is not playable, there’s no performance of course. I would handle the keyboard duties (in the past I’ve accompanied voice, violin, cello, trumpet, horn, flute, and bassoon in concert).

I was thinking $50 for phase 1 and $200 (negotiable) if we move on to phase 2.
