The Chazen Museum of Art is looking for light, background music for our Speaking of Book Arts Opening Reception.  We would love to have jazz music or perhaps a guitar soloist. February 20th, 2020 at the Chazen Museum of Art from 6:30-7:30 pm.  This is an unpaid opportunity for students.

Strings needed for wedding in Madison April 18, 2020

Looking for a trio or quartet of string musicians for a wedding ceremony at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center in Monona, WI on April 18 around 4:30pm.

Would like songs about 20 minutes before the ceremony, a few songs during the ceremony, and one song during the exit. Ceremony will end around 5:45pm.

Seeking a private piano teacher for an 8-year-old student. Student has nearly one year of experience. Scheduling is flexible, with one 30-minute lesson desired each week after school. Location (on campus or in home) is flexible. Starting salary is $20 per 30-minute lesson.

Church musician/choir director wanted in Sauk City

St. Norbert Catholic Church in the Roxbury community (Sauk City) is seeking a church musician/choir director, with a preferred start date of December 1. Duties include playing at two weekend masses and other special masses throughout the year; directing and leading the choir during masses; selecting music for each mass; coordinating music with the priest and liturgical calendar; and leading choir practices.
 
Qualifications: organ experience preferred but not required; experience directing a choir is a plus but not essential. Commitment: approximately 30-40 hours per month with more hours during Advent, Christmas, Lent, and Easter; fewer hours in the summer months. Hours for practice and music preparation are flexible based on the candidate’s preference.
