The Chazen Museum of Art is turning 50 in September!

We don’t necessarily need a large band, but we are looking for some pomp and circumstance.  We’d like the band to have percussion, horn and maybe woodwind instruments.
Please contact Jamie Prey at the Chazen Museum if you are interested.  E-mail – jprey@chazen.wisc.edu.
This is a paid opportunity.

Mar 16 Performer(s) for Charity Event

The Madison Area Music Association (MAMA) is a charitable organization that’s been putting instruments into kids’ hands since 2003. On Monday, March 16 we are hosting the MAMA Awards Finalist Announcement Party at the Brink.
The event is from 4:45 to 9 p.m. We’ll have amplified music in the front room (lounge) for the duration, and are introducing – new for 2020 – an art gallery in the back room. We are looking for acoustic, instrumental music for the gallery from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
There will be bleed from the music in the front room, so we’re looking less for a full-blown “performance”, and instead for “quiet ambiance.”
Seeking any number of musicians (solo to quartet) for any block of time up to and including the full two hours. This is a fundraiser so we are looking for volunteers (food and drink provided). That said, we are passionate about making sure musicians get paid, and hope to be able to offer a stipend.
Please contact Kerrie Osborne at kerrie@kerrieosborne.com.
Thank you!
